Midway Everbearing: (Morus rubra x hybrid) More than likely another TVA mulberry sent out from from selected everbearing genetics, with the mother tree located in 6b Tennessee. This tree drops prolific amounts of fruits for 2 months, from the beginning of May into early July. Fruit flavor is sweet/acid balanced, ¾-1 inch in size and dark purple. Leaves are medium in size and the twig has shorter internodes than most mulberries I’ve encountered (Internode: the distance between buds, this one is ~3 inches), putting this into the dual category of fruit and leaf fodder for livestock as there are more leaves per foot of stem than the average mulb (~7 inches between buds). Towards the end of the season, the fruit will dehydrate on the tree and then drop in dehydrated form in early-mid July. This dehydrated fruit is very good, with no hints of fermentation. Though I have not yet taken the brix of this fruit, the fact that it does not ferment on the tree is an indicator of quite high sugar. Great for human or livestock consumption. *This cultivar has a $2/tree royalty

**These trees are budded and between 2 and 3 feet in height, growing on rootstock that is 1-2.5 inches in caliper.  These trees will be bare root, alive, well and sleepily dormant by the time you pick them up. I am not responsible for anything that happens to them. The wood alone on these on these trees is worth the cost if you learn to propagate. Scion will not be for sale otherwise.**
